INsensINverso is a no-profit organization founded by a group of volunteers whose aim is not just to teach the Italian language but also to create an international group where people have the opportunity to exchange and share experiences, thoughts, problems and religious creeds. Our school is a metaphor of a different and possible world that finds inspiration in the diversity of cultures from around the world and from the hope to know each other. Insensinverso has an ambitious aim to promote integration between immigrants and the local population and between different ethnic groups, overcoming the culture difference, sex and religious diversities. Classes are managed by two teachers and by a group of volunteers. This activity started 2 years ago since then we have had the opportunity to strengthen and consolidate our experiences as a group……. In February 2007 the increase in the number of students has made it necessary to change the venue of this activity. Classes are now conducted at Nuovo Comitato di Quartiere to whom we greatly appreciate for kindly lending their place to us. COURSES SCHEDULE
Level 1: Classes are planned for foreigners who have just arrived in Italy and are looking to acquire a basic knowledge of the Italian language. Level 2: Classes are designed for foreigners who already have knowledge of simple communication skills and are looking to improve their writing, reading and grammar skills. Level 3: For foreigners, who are already able to communicate in the Italian language (talk, read and write) reasonably fluently and who are looking to acquire a deeper knowledge of Italian grammar and idiomatic expressions. Each level runs for a period of 3 months with classes being held twice a week. Classes start after 6:30 pm but students are welcome to ask for a different timetable. |
